123 Paw means: 123 Paw staff, contractors, sub-contractors, agents, or any person engaged by 123 Paw.

Owner/s extends to owner/s, caregiver/s or person/s entrusted with your dog to attend and conduct training. 

Session means all one-on-one consultations, classes, workshops, seminars, and group sessions.

By participating in training sessions, the owner/s or authorised delegate of the dog/s agree to the following terms and conditions 

1. 123 Paw reserves the right to refuse any dog for training, 

2. The successfulness of training with 123 Paw is dependent upon the amount of time and effort the owner/s or caregiver/s are  inputting outside of the training sessions held by 123 Paw.

Dogs

3. Dogs must attend sessions on a flat collar, harness, or head collar and  if required a well fitted basket style muzzle.  

4. In group sessions, all dogs must remain on lead (and not in contact with other dogs) unless specifically instructed otherwise by the trainer.

5. If your dog is showing signs of injury or illness including (but not limited to): coughing, runny nose and /or eyes, sneezing, gastro upsets, diarrhea, rash, limping or lameness or anything unusual for your dog, you will advise 123 Paw prior to attending any session.

Digital images and Video Recording

6. We may require video or digital images of your dog for training purposes, or to be used in website and social media content. All digital images and video remain the property of 123 Paw.

Payment terms

7. Initial consultations are required to be paid in full within 48 hours of booking to confirm your consultation. Payments are to be made electronically (such as via Bank transfer) and confirmation of your consult date and details will be sent once payment received.

8. For all other consults (excluding initial consult) a deposit of $100 or 50% of your consult fee (whichever is greater) may be required to confirm your booking. Payment is required within 48 hours of booking and confirmation of your consult date and details will be provided once payment received.

9. Excluding any amount already paid (if applicable), all sessions are to be paid on the day of session.

10. Multi-session packages, where offered, are payable in full at the time of the first session, less any amounts paid.

11. Where 123 Paw Dog incorporates the services of a third party you will be required to pay them according to their requirements.

Refunds

12. Refunds will only be provided as outlined below, or at the discretion of 123 Paw.

Cancellation Fees & Refunds

13. For the avoidance of doubt, a cancellation is defined as any appointment which cannot be upheld at the time, date and / or location of the original booking.

14. A cancellation fee will apply in the circumstances listed below to cover administrative costs and the unfilled session time. The amount of the fee charged will be  $100 or 50% of the consult fee ,whichever is greater.  

 Cancellations by client

15. A cancellation fee will apply where notification is provided less than 3 calendars days before your scheduled session.

16. Where payment has been made prior to the consult any remaining funds may be refunded or credited towards your rescheduled consult date, if applicable.

17. Where notification of cancellation is provided more than 3 calendar days before your scheduled session and you have paid prior to the session, we will reschedule your session at a mutually agreeable time, within 2 months of the original booked date or refund any payment made.

Cancellations by 123 Paw

18. Cancellation of sessions can happen from time to time due to inclement weather, high temperatures, facilitators being ill, personal emergencies, unforeseen circumstances, or facilities being unavailable for any reason.

19. If your consult is rescheduled due to inclement weather or instructor illness/emergency, we will be in contact with you to rearrange a suitable replacement booking. It is important that you take this into account when booking as refunds will not be offered in this case.

20. 123 Paw will make every effort to advise you via text or email at least 30 minutes prior to the start of a session. It is your responsibility to provide us with your correct email and primary mobile number.

21. Any private consultations where 123 Paw attends but for reasons we deem to be of a safety and/or welfare concern  and need to cease the session will be charged at the normal consultation rate, or a reduced rate, determined at the discretion of 123 Paw.

22. In the event of any group sessions where 123 Paw deems your dog to be unsuitable to remain in the group session, you may be charged a $50.00 fee, determined at the discretion of 123 Paw. 

 Indemnity & Liability

23. The owner/s release 123 Paw from all liability for injury, death, loss, or damage of any kind whatsoever that may occur to any animal, person, or property whilst under the supervision of 123 Paw.

24. The owner/s agree to be solely responsible for any and all things or acts done by the dog while the dog is in the care of 123 Paw including any cost, loss or expense arising out of financial liability.

25. The owner/s understand that when training in any public area ie: any area that the public and their dog/s have access to, there is the risk of exposure to pathogens and other disease or infection and will not hold 123 Paw liable for any and all costs involved.

26. I/We the owner/s warrant the accuracy of all information given about the animal.
